Old North doesn’t quite have the oldest Sunday School in the nation but it’s close!  Rev. Samuel Dana established his Sunday School in 1817 a mere 8 years after the first church Sunday School in Pittsburg in 1809.

At Old North Church, we cherish our children!  During the program year, at the 10:00 am service we offer children’s church  after the moments with children in worship.  Children’s Church is for PK-6th grades, and we also offer professional childcare for infants and toddlers.

Of course, all children are welcome to stay in worship with their families if they wish.  We provide worship bags that contain books, crayons, drawing paper and activities.

Both Junior and Senior Youth programs are centerered on fellowship, service and faith. The Junior Youth program follows a traditional youth group model, providing the gathering of youth with various types of activities, service projects and discussions. The Senior Youth Program, on the other hand, offers various options, including a mission trip and a monthly service project, allowing youth to choose what best fills their needs and interests.
